Stumbled on this jewel Friday - I know nothing about British Bikes, but this one was rumored to be a very very low serial number Trident -

Might be.  I think it's a T150.  The first ones came with space-age bodywork that was not a hit. Triumph sent a beauty kit to retrofit the space bikes turnip fans called them bread box tanks, I believe.  The beauty kit made them more traditional looking.

The one I like is the T160. Swoopy styling, electric start. This is another bike for my dream collection.

Hmmmm, dream collection, sounds like a good idea.
