Well, back to being a 100%-er. A guy ran a red light at 45 mph and totaled my truck.

Now I just have the three bikes.

Today Mrs. Joe and I fit three bags of groceries, and one good sized watermelon on the Volusia.

I am not buying another truck or car until winter sets in...maybe.  Laugh

Yes, o.k. Thanks!

I think Mrs. Joe scared him when she got out of the truck yelling the f word, and being a tattooed biker mamma and all. lol. He just sat down and said "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention." He told the State Trooper the same thing.

I dislocated my knee, but Mrs. Joe popped it right back in.

Now to find a replacement truck, or car...not fun.

This is the most traffic this forum has had in a while, I hope we don't have an accident!

Anyway, good time to be buying, it is still a buyers market!

I've been a 100%er a few times.  It was fun for a while but my work always required a bunch of tools, hence the trucks. Work seems to cause problems whenever it creeps into your life.

Have I mentioned going to New Zealand yet?

No, you've not mentioned that you are going to New Zealand yet.

If you did, I missed it  Shocked

All this traffic - I logged in last night and remembered one of the reason this forum has such little traffic - it is bloated beyond belief and sometimes takes too long to load.

A shame, but it is what it is.....

oh, it's a sad day...

We got a car, a Buick Roadmaster.
Iron head LT-1 and leather.
1300 bucks.
128,000 miles.
The only "issue" was a thick patina of mold/tree sap that took two hours++ of Rubbing compound, followed by half that with Turtle hard wax, followed by half that with Wax As You Dry.
I should have done before and afters, but hindsight is 20/20.

Pic no work -

I love those boats, nice and comfortable, one of the last of the rear wheel drives.

And they actually look good with those big wheels on them...

Good find, enjoy!

We could get along fine with one thread here.  Call it "The Coffee Klatch"

Heading to New Zealand soon.  3 weeks of hubby/wife moto-touring on a big-ass Victory bagger.

Selling stuff as we type to generate funds for the trip.  (Truck, motorcycle, boat).

Trading possessions for experiences at this stage of my life.

Since we're rollin' with one thread for now, I use this time to mention yesterdays ride...110 miles on the 50cc Yamaha Vino ADV bike!

That's 110 miles of gravel and broken pavement with 10" wheels.

Yes, I'm bragging.

Oh yes, the era of the tall blackwall, remember it well.

Looks like it is in nice shape, congratulations.

We've also has some long scooter adventures, the family and I, good times.

I've tweeked our 1st Gen Honda Met's to the point of them being able to bury the speedometers - Malossi variators rock, you just have to get the weights right.

The 2-stroke Vino's can be made into wheelie monsters, real beasts.

Fun stuff
