I rode my Ninja to work today, it was a little cold in the morning but it's supposed to warm up later. Anyway, my Ninja's chain needed some TLC because it hasn't been oiled in a while. Here's Ari showing me how to clean and oil the chain, because I've never done it on my own.

Good job! I think you'll be surprised at how much of an improvement a properly oiled (and adjusted) chain can make.

My Rex chain finally died at 22k. I've been working the mooch but at some point you have to give up and spend money.
I just spray lube on 'em. Never really clean them.

Oiling the chain might ruin that pretty rust color on the chain and sprocket.

Well, that roller pin dust is on the bottom bolt and nut of the sprocket too.
