I rode one of intruders once, a 1400cc version. I was working in Manchester New Hampshire at the time, that bike had some decent torque!
Love the Turbo, I always wanted the 650cc version - imagine, just imagine if Honda had made a liter plus version......

quite polar machines! they look good. i was never into *** cruisers so i know little about them . and actually i am fine with that. but i did have 2 new suzukis and i can beleive they must have made the cruisers just as good as their GS and TC's.
didnt Prince inspire that paint color? i actually like it . Triumph had one in the 60's that color and i liked it allthough it was universaly panned.
i got out of *** bikes before the turbos came in. i always thought the rectangular headlites sukked. in hindsight they look much better. i can see a mid deplacement turbo as being fun. a once rode with a guy whom had a turbo on his FLHT. man did that thing fly!

I've always liked those lil chopperisque Intruder's and have always kept my eye out for a el chepo to butcher but its never happened.
A preacher of the church I use to go to had a cool black one and installed some drag bars on it and looked real cool. I've never cared for the bigger ones much though. And I've seen some neat stuff done on the little 'truders.

i cant stand the looks of those intruders or just about all of that eras so called cruisers. they scream JAPAN in their styling. trying to copy certain trends, but never getting them quite right.
there are some nice bobbed late honda vtwins in the philippines. i think steve once went over those models with me. but they now look like bobbers and not *** cruisers. i wil say the middleweights are usually clean looking machines these days, but i would still gladly pass on them.

i beleive the 800's were marauders. the later ones beeing a bit more palatable in appearance, but still scaled down copies of harley fatboy styling. i mean, how wannabee can people wannabe?
