Went to Glen Helen yesterday for the first time to learn how to ride dirt bikes. A lot of fun! Only fell off the bike a couple of times.

I didn't put my elbow protection on correctly!

Good work on the arm Annette. Now you are learning to ride! None of this sissy street-grip for you.

My old Jerseys had pads in the forearms of the Jerseys, I don't remember having scrapes on my forearms but I did have a calcium build up from some of the drops that stayed with me for at least 30 years.
They are almost gone now, guess nothing lasts forever. If the front end washed out on me, I never let go of the bars and my left forearm and the end of the handlebar would take most of the jolt.
Its no big deal, its part of dirt riding but in a race, you try not to make the mistakes that put you down. You'll finish better that way..
