Honda CB1000R

I was hoping the CB1000R would be a 10 second bike, not sure what it is with that number.
As it is, engine performance seems to be on par with the older CB900F/919 - at least the 1/4 mile performance of the two (CB1000R/919) appears to be really close to being identical.

The Finance Guy at our Honda dealer had one outside the door when you came in and it looked pretty sharp. He had changed out the big muffler for some cool looking job that had a couple of pipes sticking up and pointing rearward. It looked great.
He asked if I wanted to ride it, but I declined since I'm already bike poor. A few months later he called me up and asked if I wanted to buy it. I think times were hard at the Honda Dealership.
I was surprised that the bike didn't run faster in the 1/4 mile but that could be forgiven if it pulled nicely in the low & Midrange where it is ridden 95% of the time.
