Over at Big Red they have a random photo thread. Seems like a good idea.

Jupiter was really bright a few nights ago so I took a poke at it with my cheapo 800mm Rokinon mirror lens. I never could get it in focus. Lots of cropping on this.

Cool pics Joe,,,That one of the moon is awsome.
I tried to get a pic of Orions Belt but all that came out was this;

If you look closely you can see part of my belt.

800mm again. A few months ago. The space shuttle docked at the space station. Square things are the solar panels.
We won't see this again.

Go here and enter your location, it will give you the date& time the space station passes over. The thing is huge, easy to see, and hauls a$$.

My wife did a leg of a triathlon in Key West. I shot cheesecake photos while she bicycled 20 miles.

These guys are like roaches here. I have to stand guard over the cat or they'll steal her food.

I use about 2 inches of my tires in Florida. Chicken strips seem inadequate.

There was one of these on craig's for $700. Looked good, needed carb cleaned. It ran !
Lucky for me I just paid my credit card.
