Have the route layed out - about 120 miles of beautiful roads.

The Big Burr Oak, Seven Hills, the Boonville Flats are again a part of the run, and the rest - the rest is brand new for this event.

We'll leave Jones Powersports at 10:00-10:30AM - have those tanks filled (Just 1/2 mile or less south of Jones is a station, stop there prior to coming to Jones).

We'll make a nice loop back to Columbia and one of, if not the best Sub Shops in the entire galaxie.

If you can make it great, email me for particulars.

If not, well, you will wish you would of!

Oh, it is a mellow ride. We should be all done eating and all that by, say, mid afternoon - plenty of time for you to get back home.

Generally a mixed crowd, everyone is welcome - I ride an old GL500, there is generally a good mix of bikes.

This year, quality over quantity. (Does not apply at Sub Shop!)

A great group, great ride.

Based on the economy, I'll be thrilled with half.

Happy with two.

Getting a little excited here.

The plan here is to head out tomorrow, meet my sister half way and we can ride back together - she rides a VStar 1100, bigger than the Progressive Insurance chicks

Silverwing, 1982, more than a few miles on it. Changed the oil and filter, replaced the clutch with one aquired on eBay, only to find the old was was well within spec, only problem is with the custom length cable I had made, that can be addressed later.

Slipped on a Continental Milestone front tire, I really like how it works, very much, but this trip will be the "acid test" for it.

Saturday Morning can not get here soon enough - that applies to tomorrow as well.

Did you have to drop the engine to change the clutch on the winglet?

Oh no, simple 15 minute ordeal, and that includes break time!

Made it to Columbia in record time, made one little mistake right off the bat, left the choke on 1/4 for about 60 miles of "spirited" riding - caught it, but hit reserve at 117 miles. Filled at 127 and it took 4.4 gallons

29 MPG, worst I'd ever seen on it.

Sure ran a lot stronger with the choke off!

Thanks Joe, always good to hear from you.

Now - to get ready for the ride.
