More like 2 minutes with hand tools. Axle nut, brake arm stay nut, brake rod adjuster nut all off. No fender/bag removed needed.

Bang out the axle, the spacer drops. That is the gap needed to pull the wheel away from the gear's rear end. Don't forget to grease that spline and axle shaft on reassembly.

Then move the bike off the one side stand leg, you eliminate the need for the rear fender to clear. Out she comes if not 3 minutes at the most, to pick up your pants to eliminate plumber cleavage.

5 minutes is a long time, look how fast Buell restyled the Blast.

I just did my RT1 rear wheel. Took about 5 to remove, twenty to figure what to use for a shim on the sprocket carrier snout( 12 inches of 1inch wide tape measure) then about 5 to put back/ adjust chain.

I could easily be done in a couple minutes, you guys and gals know it. Especially if I had all the tools laid out.

If I removed the tool kit, which allows that rear fender to swing up all the way - that would of added a second and subtracted several.

I've heard that with the stock exhaust, you have to add some time to loosen and possibly remove the muffler - no big deal, just a little more time.

All back together now and ready to ride - I'm excited to see how well the Continental Milestones perform. I keep hearing Continental is the number one brand in Europe, must be for a reason.

The Dunlop D404's failed to impress me, other than being "inexpensive", they were OK I guess, but, well, whatever, they're history......

Thanks for the comments

Your fish tails are 90 degrees off.  How are you gonna pull chicks like that?
