After reading Cat Tales by Brian Catterson in the August 09 issue I think Adam Carolla is an A** hole. And I'm disappointed with Brian for saying "I'd be temped to agree with him if I hadn't ridden a chopper to work this morning" Or maybe I'm taking this the wrong way?

Adam Carolla hit the nail on the head.

Loud pipes just serve to piss people off.

Loud straight pipes on a H-D piss EVERYONE off!

When hanging out at Alice's Restaurant here in the SF Bay Area everyone has to stop their conversation while the Harley folks start up and ROAR out of there.
No wonder the locals HATE the Motorcyclists that come up there every weekend.

The H-D Uniform? Adam is spot on about that too.
But I'm sure that the H-D folks think sport bikers look like Megamen.
(look, there goes red megaman, there goes blue Megaman, etc)

The loud pipes draw WAY too much attention and shear hatred from the non riding public.

And the guys riding the straight pipe Harley's NOW WITH BOOMBOX STEREOS!!!!!!!!!!!

That's just what we need!

Loud H-D's that can make EVEN MORE soul shattering noise!
Now with Hip-Hop music!!

Yup!!

Adam Carolla has it right!

"Look at me! Look at me!! I'm a loud *** on a motorcycle!"

Guess it's all part of the dirt bagging of American culture!

Quiet is cool.  Lots of reactionary enforcement coming in many places.

I live about 1 mile from a main rural 4 lane road.  Every weekend, I hear the noise of loud motorcycles, both cruiser and sportbike, from the road.  It doesn't bother me that much, but I am sure that others are really upset.

Time to get with the program people.  They're going to make us do it, anyway.
