I am looking to buy a gixxer and don't really know what to buy for comfort. I know they are not made for comfort, but my brother keeps telling me that a 1000 is more laid out and will be more comfortable on longer rides, whereas with a 600 my knees will be closer to my hands and therefore will feel crampy. I can't find any info on this online and on the suzuki page it looks like they are the same in seat height and wheelbase. Any opinions or anyone know of where to find an article on head to head comfort. Thanks alot

They look like the exact same bike except for displacement.   But I've never sat on one.

The 600 and 1000 have the same ergonomics. You can compare our measurements from the "Class of 08" story (August 08) and the "Class of 09" story (July 2009) and see that they almost identical. Just off my a couple tenths of an inch.

From there it all comes down to power; 105bhp or 155bhp? Then again you could always go for the 750 (my preference).
