Yamaha YZF-R6 vs, R6S

So I've wanted a bike for a few years now. I've been practicing on my friends' bikes(one's a little 250 ninja, the other's a 750 of some sort) and I'm now set on getting one. I've been looking at the R6 and I found the R6S.

I read all the specs.( http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/products/modelspeccompare/8/1815/0/compare.aspx ) but some of that I don't really and what from I do understand I can't see much other than a few differences like the clutch, and some minor things.

Which one would be better for a newer rider? And what's the differences between them like riding position or how they feel?(I'm 5'11" 154lbs. if that makes a difference in anything.)
