Hi, i am new to the whole motorcycle scene and i am currently looking at a bike that is a chassie and the engine is in pieces, but he is giving it to me for free. How much is it gonna cost me to put it back together?

Don't do it unless you are totally nuts about a early 90's Vulcan 500 (and you aren't)
If you want to fix it to learn about bike repair then OK.
