Hi. I am new to working on motorcycles, and started because a friend gave me his 1990 Suzuki VX800 since it was deemed unfixable. The thing is, I got it running, but it has two problems I haven't been able to fix: 1.- I can drain a battery trying to start it in the morning. If i am lucky, it starts, and it runs well all day, until it gets cold again. Chocke is stuck, so I can not use it. 2.- between 5000 and 6000 rpm, in 5th gear, the engine hesitates like crazy, sometimes I think I am running out of fuel. If I open the throtle further, then the engine runs well.
Any ideas?

Hey Mandy? He's got a problem is it needs to run first. I'm yank inn ya, hon.
You have 3 basis circuits that run sort of linear. Idle is a circuit and you do not even feel the transition from there to the low speed. So, for you to really rev it over to Mandy's is I would clean the low circuits since it takes all that 5/6K (((hez))) is like you said > "... running out of fuel."
