I have been subscribing to your excellent magazine, on and off for 35 years, and find it very informative, and entertaining.  I only started riding when I was 37, some small amounts when I was in the Air Force, and since I have retired started riding again last year.  I'm 72 and hopefully going on 73, feel fine and still enjoy getting out on my 2006 Honda 599, perfect for my 5' 8" stature.

Now the reason I'm writing is to tell you how much I enjoy Mike Seate's articles, especially this latest one, " Luck of the Irish ".  I like his style and easy way, very down to earth, he knows how to pull you into the story, as if you're there with him.  And being a Pittsburgher doesn't hurt either.  Keep up the good work.  A great magazine.

John:
count me in on that Mike Seate article "Luck of the Irish"
Just when things were looking so  vanilla across Motorcyclist and Cycle, Seate steps up again, with his style and demeanor; and conveys not just an event, but the culture and impact of the "200" race. This is the second article that he's written ( a prior street article where a woman was killed in  the UK riding the old cafe racers) where the intensity , gravity and respect for riding was palpably conveyed.
More $ for Seate's travel and road story budget  please.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Mike Seate? His articles tell of his size, same in height as mine, and at 65 I want his recomendation on the best bike to fit me. At 200 lbs and an OLD ex-sprint car racer I want a runner that is reasonable in the comfort Zone!

I enjoy Seate's writing. He has a rather unique perspective.
