Quite Mufflers

Hi..

My first post !

I am searching for QUITE motorcycle Mufflers

I have looked at several and they all brag about how they have a nice deep growl / not to noisy.  I have a 1987 Suzuki intruder VS700

But after trying to add after market baffles that helped by 1% I did a modification to them and reduced the noise to about 50% But the bike was now a little under power. So i decided to make a new purchase of a set of (Major Manufacture) mufflers. They looked great
but they do not qualify to be called mufflers (they do have Baffles). They are like in the old days of buying Glass packs for a hot rod. LOUD, louder than most Harley.

My quest is find a manufacture that actually sells quite muffles. I may be spoiled as i do ride a GoldWing and it is quite.

Anyone HAVE A LEAD?        

It appears that loud mufflers in not an issue. I could really use some input as to what to do?

The bike is nice but can not use it as is.      

Put the stock pipes back on it and pipe down you crazy kid.
