Read the article on the new KLR. What's the Valve train set-up. Do you have to remove the cam to make the adjust? How often?

Its a bucket and shim set up..the cams have to be lifted to replace the shims...check the valves at 600 miles then forget about them. Change oil every 2000-2500 miles. I got my '08 in June of '07. It has 15,000+ miles on it, gets 60 mpg, runs beautifully, best idling thumper in the universe, regular as a cesium atomic clock.
