I live in Wisconsin and have been riding for two summers and storing my bike in the winter. I am looking to move to a different city with a friendly sport bike community where i can ride year round. any suggestions would be appreciated.

We are selling our home in Sanford, FL - just N/E of Orlando - and it occurred to us that we should let the biker community know about it since some of you northerners may be looking for warmer, bike friendly climates! Sanford is incredibly popluar with bikers and has BikeFest and Thunder in the Streets each year. Our MLS is O4817765. Give us a shout if you are interested in the house or in need of any other info re: Central FL. Thanks and good luck with your search!

I think California would be a good choice. I ride year round, winters are pretty cold, but nothing a heated vest can’t handle. It only rains here for 3-4 months; it hasn’t rained much in the past few years. There are lots of country roads as well as twisty roads. You can be enjoying highway 1 one minute, an hour or two later you can be enjoying the Sierra Mountains.
