Getting The Lisence

Well Im gunna try and get my Motorcycle lisence..

I was wondering on what you do at the "Motorcycle Safty Program" if you did it.

And also what goes down at the DMV after you get DL389.

I know depending on where everyone lives depends on how they get there lisence..

But try to hlep me as much as you can...

Keeping in mind I have never taken the Basic Motorcycle class here is my impression.  

You will start from the very beginning, the class is used to train someone who has never been on a motorcycle to ride safely.  Lot's of slow speed manuevering and plenty of class time also.

Once you get through the class you have the option of taking the licensing test as part of the class.  If you pass the test you are given a form to take to your local license bureau which will allow you to get your motorcycle endorsement on your license.  You will still have to pay for your endorsement at the license bureau and make sure you ask them to include it every time you get your license renewed so you don't have to do all the testing ever again.

Make sure you at least know how to ride a bicycle before you go to the class.  It sounds ridiculous but I had a friend go who had never ridden a bicycle.  There's some things that take a little longer to teach.
