Hi all,
I'm new to the forum, I live in the UK and I've been fascinated for ages with bikes like Yam's GTS, the Bimota Tesi...you get the picture. I've heard that James Parker writes a column in your mag. I'm also led to believe that he's building another bike with a funny front end. Only this time it's not a small Yam FZ750, it's based on a Gixxer 1000 (eek). Living in the UK means I have difficulty in finding US mags, so my question is were there any photos of said beastie? Anyway, glad I can join another forum. Hello from the UK, and thanks.

Where is everyone
I missed the last issue as it's difficult to find in the UK, has anyone read the latest issue? If so, please could anyone be kind enough to give me an update on James Parkers Suzuki GSXRADD? And if there is a photo please let me know, I'll send a search party for a copy... Thanks, and g'day.

Yea, it's been kind of quiet around here. I check in every so often to see if anything is new. Parker wrote an article a couple of months ago about a new idea for a front end. I don't recall any photos though. I've got the back issues. I will check it out and let you know.

Aha! I was beginning to wonder if I was in Davy Jones' locker...
Thanks for the reply, pity there's no pics, but hopefully the prototype will be revealed soon.

Hi again, any more info in this months issue? I've tried in vain to find a copy in th UK so I'm relying on help from forum users. Hopefully he'll reveal the prototype soon, me I can't wait, and I'm hoping it'll eventually be a kit to fit other GSX-R's. Thanks

Hey there bud, it will be worth the wait. I'ld love to spill the beans, but I can't. I will say that I've ridden it on a race track here in NM, several times. Being a prototype, there have been a couple improvements made after the testing sessions. This front end rocks! It takes "Late Braking" into the future.

You've ridden it ?!? Whoever said patience is a virtue was sooooo wrong... Thanks for the reply, and I'll keep my eyes on this forum, as well as the store shelves just in case I can find a copy in the UK.

Yes, we rode it and a stock forked bike side by side, same gearing/tires and same year models, 2006. The flex inherent in the fork became most evedent to me upon entering turns very aggressively. Trailing the brakes becomes so sweet when the suspension still works well after the transfer of weight to the front end. The GSXRADD only dives approx 50/60% of a conventional fork, which at first feels different but immediately becomes comfortable.

Argh!!!!!!!! Go on then, share the good news. Please! Can't wait for this bike, with all the 2008 bikes looking, erm, interesting (FireBlade, ZX10) it's about time that someone built something spectacular and innovative. Well done that man
