I'm just wondering why MC avoided answering the question that is on every SuperSport rider/reader's mind. Why didn't we get a full on comparo of the 08 ZX14 Ninja vs. the 08 Hayabusa?

I am sure they will. Perhaps they thought a side by side comparo old to new was in order first.

My guess is that they did not have the two bikes simultaneously in order to perform a same-rider, same-day, bike-A/B comparison. Motorcylist has not, since I have subscribed (1981, red GPz1100 on the cover--still have the issue), let us down by not scheduling such an obvious comparison. Maybe Cat is waiting until M/C can run the "Triple Whammy": Compare Hayabusa, ZX14, and BMW K1200S (and maybe the Triumph Sprint ST, but it may be more of a tourer; the 955i is gone). I am barely able to wait. My money is on the Hayabusa, and as of now, I am planning on buying one, unless the comparo suggests one of the others is better.
