Storage Oil

So now I have heard this two ways, and would like to know the opinion of all - to change oil or not to change oil before storing? I've heard to do, because the toxins in the oil will sit on the bearings all winter, so change it before & after storage. That came from a Honda certified mechanic, but not at a dealer. I've also heard that it won't hurt it. With the price of oil going through the roof, I'd like to save that little bit, but, it's still cheaper than a newengine....
