prep a bike for storage-carburated bike

What is the best way to prep a bike for long term storage (about 5 months).
 I will drain the fuel tank, coat it with oil.   change the oil. run the bike until the carbs are drained.  mount the bike on stands.  mount a smart trickle charger.  but what else should I do?    

5 months is not long i just fill gas tank up full to top add staybill and run awhile till it gets into everything if oil is beyond 1000 miles change it take out battery (or buy a pigtail to add to battery cables to attach battery maintainer) which will save the battery from dying during the off season then cover with cloth (bed sheet) not outdoor cover or blue tarps they hold moister and then wait out winter
