Map of Ari Henning's Rite of Passage journey?

I'm preparing to take my own cross country cycle trip, and I'm curious to the exact route that young Henning took to link the various roads he mentions in his story.  I wondered if either you or he would care to make the route available online somewhere just for us curious and intrigued readers.
I loved the story and it only made my wanderlust worse and my dayjob that much more unbearable!  

I have the route drawn out on a large wall map. Unfortunately, it's laminated and difficult to photograph, ohterwise I would have submitted it to be in the article. I can tell you that 98% of the roads I took west were 2 lane, and I chose them based on their obscurity. What roads are you curious about?
