I think I know what you're asking based on use for the street. Mostly commuting, weekend riding +/- some hooliganism and throwing the odd passenger on while off for some food and perhaps even a track day?.?. I'm thinking any of the upright ergos units that can carry the weight of two and aren't behemoths to ride or over powered? So maybe the Honda 599/ 919, Suzuki Bandit 600/1200/1250, Yamaha's Fazer 600/1000, Triumph Speed triple, Buell Lightning, or even the Ninja 500.

I'm 6'2" and topping off at 220 lbs. I need a sport bike that will fit under me. Most seem small to me. Is there a sport bike for tall people?

I'm 6'3". Ride the Buell Ulysses. Nice and roomy with lots of go. Maybe a Ducati Mulstistrada if Buells aren't your thing. Bmws are always a long legged fit. Seen the latest issue. Tiger fits me fine, though not that Sportbike looking.

In my mind? The '04+ HD Sportsters are pretty damned hard to beat for an all around motorcycle. Once ya get passed all the BS myths and stereotypes about HD and passed the stigmas of the older Sporty's you'll find one nice bike. Simple and easy to work on. Can be set up for cruising to cafe to all out dragster. My wife and I can easily and comfortably cruise all day on my 1200R and I can still have fun in the twisties when solo. And there are a TON of high-performance options/companies out there if that is you thing.
Awesome retail value over the long haul. Easy in traffic and steady on the slab. It's a bike that isn't that best at anything, a bit of an anomoly. It's an outcast among HD riders and an outcast among non-HD riders because it's an HD. But it's pretty darned good at most things.
And with a factory service manual and some basic tools there ain't much you can't do to them yourselves.

Thats too easy.. Choice of two, 1988 Yamaha FZ400R or FZ600. Both flickable like you wouldnt believe and still tons of parts and go fast goodies laying around..
Oh yeah, best bit - cheap as cheap can be. Buy both for less than the price of an R6, and have change for full riding gear, shocks, emulators, brakes jet kits, sticky rubber and exhausts..

Too many nice rides to pick. I'd like to have one of each!! Rode many brands over the years but I would have to say my all time unique ride was a 1955 Harley with a sidecar. Had the gearshift lever beside the gas tank. Man what a ride!! No matter what bike or ATV you ride check out www.onlinehelmets.com for ALL your gear. You will be happy at the selection, quality and prices plus the free shipping and guarantees.
