Hey guys i got a question. I just got my yamaha yzf600r. I need new tires but the size my back tire says is 160/70-17. I can`t find that size anywhere and i looked on a website that tells what your tire size should be and it says for my bike i should have a 160/60-17. Whats going on? why do i have a different size on my bike now and why cant i find that size anywhere?and would 160/60-17 be ok to us on my bike?

Yamahas website says the rear is 160/60 -17. Even if you cant find that size tire on a website, if you go to a Yam dealer they will be able to get the right size for your bike. Tires makers make motorcylce specific variants of some tires, I thnk the tire itself will have the correct tire specifc variant number on it. Did you buy the bike new or used, from a dealer or a private sale. I think even if you choose not to order tires through the dealer, they can at least confrim the right model number for the tire.
