DG Roadburners -

FYI, bracket does not fit the N model, these pipes are coming off and the stock ones back on . . .

Called, they listened, offered up a blank bracket for me to drill my own holes, nope, that will not fix it . . .

Sad, hopefully they will fit another model.

Looked cool.

Anyway, I just noticed this forum is too narrow - the screen - not working for me, well, I tried.

Too busy too - I'll be checking back from time to time.

Adjusted the brackets some more, had to redrill a couple of the holes, still not perfect but closer.

The more I ride this bike, the more I like it - the new owner will really enjoy this one!

I think it books at $16K, it's going for a lot less.

Just turned 700 miles, going to change the oil, re-check it all, then ride it some more!

Oh - those pipes, I DO NOT RECOMMEND DG PIPES

DG might as well stand for DON'T GET unless you are a poser who never rides.

The pipes discolored quickly, and it was a battle trying to get them to replace them. A PIA -

And tech service was not very good, they almost argued with me that the brackets fit, they did not. And the new replacement pipes they finally sent, the bracket did not fit well either, obviously DG does not really test fit the product.

I'll avoid DG and their other brands like the plague....

A shame, lots of hype and nothing to back it up.

They sure looked good though, too bad they could not take being ridden in the rain - that is what I think cause the pipes to discolor.

i bought a 05 1800n 2 months ago and am starting to feel like i am hearing engine noise myself. sometimes like clicking or pinging or "cricket sounds". Thought i was imagining or being over critical.
