Two International Motorcycle shows will feature demo rides of various types of Harley-Davidson and Buell motorcycles during the upcoming months. These shows include: Long Beach, Calif. on December 8-10 and San Mateo, Calif. from December 15-17.
The demo rides will be available to anyone who brings their own riding gear (including a helmet) and their motorcycle license. The manufacturer-sponsored demo rides will be held on Saturday and Sunday during daylight hours as weather permits.
International Motorcycles Shows, which take place on 13 different weekends starting November 3 and ending February 25, 2006, typically cost $13 for adults, $5 for children.

I went to the show in Phoenix, Nov 4. It was a great time. I ended up riding a bunch of Buells as there was room afterwards to hop on a vacant bike. The lines for Aprilia were too long and the Tuono was the only other bike that interested me (alright I was drooling). By the way the lines for H-D were pretty long, but I don't ride tractors. These weren't little dinky rides either-we went out in the city and through some decent roads 20-25 minute rides up til the last ride of about 30 minutes. Rules-no stoppies, burnouts or wheelies.
Buell support was great. I have to say that next to Brembos-Eric makes the best front brake I have ever felt. I didn't really like the "Short" I felt like I was going over the front end. I liked the "Long" -nice seat and better manners. I liked the Uly, but since I have a Strom-I kept bumping the rev-limiter
The show was worthwhile and a lot of fun. Buell is really making a good product-if he could only source an engine from KTM-I can only imagine. Buells shift much better than H-D's, ride smoothly and stop great. Go ride one for free and have some fun.
