The dealer is looking for $10K for this bike. I am looking to get into it for less. Am I going down a futile path in looking for a lower price. I really want the bike and I know I want new?

i haven't been doing this very long, but it seems to me like when you are buying a new bike off the floor, the dealers do not move much (if at all)on the price of bikes. used i do believe you have some room to work. i think you would be very lucky to get out the door under 10k on the vfr. at the local shop in my town there is a 06 vfr going for $9K has only 2500mi if only i didn't just by a bike. if any thing push for accessories at a discount. good luck!

I myself am looking into the VFR and it's hard to find them under that price. If you can get it new at that price it's not too bad. I've found a few but they usually have high miles or something.
