OK, which is everyone's favorite off-season AMA story?

1) Where do the Hodgson and Yates wind up next year? Jordan (Yates)? Ducati WSBK (Hodson)?

2) Ben Bostrom in '07? Ferraci racing MV Agustas? Would this be too much sexy for one garage?

3) Are we looking at Mladin/Spies II, or do you think another factory can step into the mix?

4) Will Hacking and E-Boz be running Superbikes and not support classes next year? And if not, what the HELL is wrong with this picture? And yes, I don't care what anyone says, Superstock/FX ARE support classes!!!And those guys are NOT support class riders.

5) Any Kurtis Roberts sightings?

6) Will anyone have the Cojones to try and homologate the Desmosedici? Superbikes without Ducati is a more boring, hollow place. C'mon, MJ, you can afford it, and this needs to happen.

7) Last-chance qualifying/Superpole? This is so much cooler than the current AMA qualifying, and needs to happen, Mid-Ohio fiasco or no.

8) Does anyone like the odds of the new mojos at the AMA resolving all the lingering problems (class confusion, etc.,) and helping this series move forward?

Wow, a post I can sink my teeth into.

I hope Neil goes to WSBK. Class guy all the way.
Currently the better racing action, and better coverage on speed too.

Yates can go to hell. Im tired of his wreckless riding and will
never forgive him for his Daytona stunt.

I wonder if Jordan will lose interest in racing before the team can fully evolve.

E-Boz is still phenominal and I really missed him in Superbike this year. Was and is it The Money? C'mon Eric.
Look what Nicky and Hopkins did. E-boz was every bit as talented. To bad.

Ben who? And if it continues... expect to see him move to the commentary booth with Freddie. I dont think he has enough hunger for a Ferraci effort. Looking pretty takes time.

Mladin should go to WSBK as well. Look how competitive the series is. I dont hold his accomplishments in the AMA as high unless I see one WSBK title as well.

As far as the AMA, remeber looking forward to Daytona in March?
Could they have screwed that up any more?

Mitch --can't help but agree on most points. I barely pay any attention to the 200 anymore, it's insane that the formerly premier race in the world is a support class race. I know there are tire issues w/the big bikes, but I always felt that the pit stops added to the intrigue. So what if they have to make 4 stops, Daytona should be the premier race and if it's not, Cancel the thing and run an extra race at Atlanta,Barber,Miller,etc.,.

You're spot-on on Ben, but MAYBE he can re-align the marbles and run up front again. And the paddock desperately needs Eraldo Ferraci, whether it's w/MV, Ducati, KTM,or whatever.

I'd love to see Mladin in WSBK, if for no other reason career validation. He's record in AMA is unimpeachable, but it's kind of like being the all-time home run king in AAA baseball. At his age, he could have maybe 4-6 good years, and I truly think he could be a contender at a higher level. Same goes for E-Boz. What happened there, 'cause 3-4 yrs ago he seemed ticketed for the world stage. The things he could do w/that dog of a Kawi....

So Ferraci might be running an MV ?

Now that, gets my diluted Italian blood excited.

Didnt your friend D. Poulin race for Ferraci ?
I thought I saw him race for Ducati in New Hampshire ?
Won, didnt he?

And can you tell me how Bayliss was so competitive on the 999
this year?  We all heard Mladins take on it.

My understanding is that the MV deal may be just pie-in-the-sky speculation, but you can't tell me it wouldn't be great to have some Italian sexiness in the paddock next season (the MV, NOT Eraldo, although he is a *** fine looking man). This just NEEDS to happen.

Trying to find out from Mr.Polen if he can offer any insight to the rumour. And yeah, he did have a LITTLE success working w/Mr. Ferracci in the past. Bet he could still outrun B-Boz. For real.

Bayliss was so competitive because
A)Higher corner speed/later braking
B)Tremendous synergy w/his team/factory
C)Massive genitalia

Being of Italian descent...
I would happily trade some C
for more A

A bit of trouble at track days... not wanting to
bring the CBR back home freshly ground down.
Unlike the proffesionals...
Im still making payments.

A, B & C sure describes the Italians in Moto GP.
Afraid to ask how you "know" so much about the subject.

And I think C could be Nicky's downfall this weekend.
Rossi's bringing his balls to the track in a Semi.
