What is the best sport bike available? Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Ducati, Kawasaki.

The big 4 are so close in performance and just about everything else you wont even notice. Everyone has their prefrence, for example, I'm a honda fan, and I have 2 CBRs (one from the F series and one RR). I'd buy another honda in a second, although I've been thinking about trying a ducati.

Do you know of a place where I can purchase a good used honda for a reasonable price? I am looking to buy one.

Depends on where you live. You'll always save a few bikes to buy the bike from a private individual, but you have no support should there be a problem. Try the local paper and ,if you're lucky, you'll have a Cycle Trader in your area. Be VERY wary of trying to buy on E-bay--my experience tells me the bikes are often over-represented (not as nice as the owner claims) and there are a LOT of scammers. But they ARE some deals to be had if you're smart. Their are also quite a few MASSIVE used-only dealerships in the country--try to scope one out (WOW in Atlanta comes to mind, check the web or Yellow Pages). Also, be patient---don't buy a bike that's ALMOST what you want/good enough/etc., but do be flexible re:year, color,etc.,.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I will look around. I have a cycle trader here in SoCal but i want to find a good deal through a dealership. I feel more comfortable it coming from a dealership when i am new at riding and all.

In reality, all manufacturers make excellent motorcycles. I suggest you investigate your local dealer network and determine which one is the most supportive of your needs - and then buy something from them.
